Project Management as a Crucial Entrepreneurial Skill
Filip Genov is a senior banker with 20+ years of executive experience in Bulgaria, Italy and the countries of Eastern Europe.
He leads UniCredit Bulbank’s Special Projects Team and is a member of the bank’s Investment Committee. He initiated and currently manages bank’s entry into the equity investment and startup financing business.
Filip is the first Eastern European manager to be elected to the Executive Committee of the Factors Chain International, being responsible for the R&D and innovations.
In Bulgaria he created and managed the corporate banking, SME and factoring businesses of UniCredit Bulbank.
Filip is also an avid supporter, business angel, mentor and investor in startups of young entrepreneurs. He voluntarily serves on the Board of Directors of the Cedar Foundation, which gives disadvantaged people in Bulgaria a better quality of medical care and living conditions.Filip holds an MBA degree from the London School of Economics and New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Jordan is a member of UniCredit Bulbank’s Special Projects Team, within which he plaid a crucial role in creating the bank’s startup financing business. He is also member of the Investment Committee of the bank.
At 17 Jordan started his first own company. After selling it, he went with great success into the marketing business. In 2005 he joined the Bank as part of the Capgemini Management Consulting team responsible for the execution of the triple merger of Bulbank, Biochim and Hebros Bank. After the merger he became a Project Manager in the Bank with an award-winning project portfolio of over 40 large scale projects on local and CEE level. Scope and experience varied from strategic consultancy and M&As, through development of new products and services. Soon after he was entrusted to lead the entire Project and Portfolio Management Office of UniCredit Bulbank. In his Project Management career he has been responsible for a portfolio of more than 400 projects, across the entire banking spectrum. Building on this experience he designed and implemented a customized Project and Portfolio Management Methodology corresponding to the demanding strategic agenda of the Top Management.Jordan holds an MBA degree from Manchester Business School.
